welcome to The tap space

Oftentimes, tap takes a backseat to other styles of dance in traditional studio settings. The Tap Space is solely dedicated to providing high quality tap training and choreography to help dancers of all ages advance in their tap artistry. Whether dancers are interested in a more rigorous training schedule or occasional lessons to supplement competitive studio participation, The Tap Space provides flexibility for any level of involvement.

The tap space is for everyone.

Beginners looking to learn new skills. Tap lovers who still want to train and compete but don't want to commit to other styles. Studio dancers wanting to carve out time dedicated to improving their tap technique. Studio owners hoping to outsource tap solo choreography.

The Tap Space strives to make tap training accessible, approachable, and enjoyable for all dancers and all schedules.

ways to get involved

Full studio involvement

Dancers who do not belong to another studio and are ready to go all-in on tap can choose to make The Tap Space their studio home. Dancers will have the opportunity to learn and compete a solo, have weekly private lessons, and receive discounted prices on drop-in classes.

Solo choreography

Dancers who belong to another studio can receive solo choreography from The Tap Space but compete this solo under their home studio. After initial choreography, dancers can establish a regular schedule for solo rehearsal or sign up for occasional cleaning sessions throughout the year.

Supplemental training

Dancers who belong to another studio can sign up for private tech classes, solo cleaning lessons, and/or drop-in tech and combo classes throughout the year as their schedules allow. This is a great way to refine tap technique, meet other dancers, and supplement current studio involvement!
